But as I sat on my couch and scrolled through memories of the evening, text messages received and sentiments posted, I felt a sense of hope.
Define by your standards what is "enough" for you. Define what truly matters to you. Look at all the blessings you enjoy as your perfectly imperfect self. I can almost guarantee that you'll find your beautiful life to be pretty amazing right now. Today. No comparison required.
I have found that naming this anxious struggle of mine has allowed me to address it. I now recognize the true thief that anxiety can be.
Sometimes simply realizing our blessings on paper can help us ink them more permanently in our minds. Especially during those tough times.
